Charles Dickens (1812-1870)

Dickens staat bekend om zijn uitvoerige en gedetailleerde beschrijvingen van personages en situaties, hierdoor verkrijgt het verhaal een zeer beeldend karakter en verplaats je je als lezer als het ware terug in de tijd.
