Desiderius Erasmus (1467-1536)

Desiderius Erasmus was een bekende filosoof, theoloog en humanist. Hij wordt beschouwd als een van de grote denkers van zijn tijd. "Lof der zotheid" is zijn bekendste werk, waarin hij allerlei misstanden in de kerk en de maatschappij aan de kaak stelt.
